Travel Blog Exchange
Travel bloggers of the world unite!
Blogging has come a long way since the creation of the Internet oh-so-many moons ago. You’ll even find blogs on the websites of prestigious publications such as the New York Times! I admit that I had a LiveJournal when I was a tween, mainly so I could complain about my homework or vaguely describe the boy I liked. However, blogging now serves a different purpose for me.
I’m a travel blogger. People visit my site and read about my vacations and search for recommendations and tips. I’m part of a unique breed of bloggers that love to share their travel stories with the world. We explore new places, we chronicle our journeys and put it all on the Internet for everybody to see.
I really never knew there were so many people out there writing travel blogs until I was asked to be a part of the Travel Blog Exchange. Kim Mance and Maren Hogan of Galavanting Productions, LLC created a network for people like me to share ideas, photos and experiences. I am very honored to be the Community Manager for the site, welcoming new members and helping the operation run smoothly. With over 150 members in just three days after the launch of TBEX, I’d say this idea is a major success!
One of the best things about TBEX is the travel blogger meet-up scheduled for July 26 in Chicago. Kim Mance and Debbie Dubrow are heading this event, which I am sure is going to be quite the experience.

Hey, just find you via 20sb (and TBEX)! My travels have been made much more fascinating because of the advice received from the hoards of travel bloggers out there. And I’ve even run into a few bloggers too.
Dig the site! And the look…. I’m getting Carried away here. I’ll stop typing now.
